"You’re federal property!"
Fun Fact: DC and Marvel in put together and co-published for Amalgam Comics, an imprint which featured combinations of their respective heroes much akin to this. It featured Heroes such as:
Dark Claw (Batman/Wolverine)
Doctor Strangefate (Oddly enough, Not Stephen Strange, but Charles Xavier/Dr. Fate lolwut),
Super Soldier (Captain America/Superman)
Amazon aka Ororo of Themyscira (Storm/Wonder Woman)
and many more.
Nothing but Props to the artist, but I think some of these mash-ups aren’t very suitable. Though I guess that’s the very nature of mash-ups. Some are hits, some are misses. Great art either way. Wonder Phoenix, Captain Crawler and Flashulk are next level rad though.
‘School Days’ by The Runaways is my new jam.
Meatball Machine (2005) - dir. Yudai Yamaguchi
Jesus christ, this was bat-shit.
MEATBALL MACHINE. This movie is out there
‘Brad Logan’ by Rancid
This is the very first Rancid song I’ve ever heard. I’ve been a fan ever since
I will never not laugh at this
I’d like to talk about this for a minute because this is exactly what is ruining gaming. This chart was on the wikipedia website showing which editions of the game Watch Dogs will get which exclusive collectibles and in-game items will show up for which platform and which edition of the game.
This practice has gotten way out of hand. Using little trinkets and worthless in-game items to create incentives for people to spend more money and excluding others from content because they’re on a different platform. It started out as something as simple as buying a regular edition or a collector’s edition with a couple of neat trinkets for a few more bucks.
Nowadays it could literally define your experience with the game because of some of the ridiculous things they offer. They do and will offer anything, from items of clothing to exclusive guns, items, extra storage and the like.
It’s just ridiculous how quickly and easily we as the gaming collective have eaten this shit up. Even people who are opposed to the practice are sucked in because hey, you’re gonna get the game one way or the other now, right? I’m apart of the problem so I’m disappointed in myself too.
We fucking let them dictate how to package this bullshit up and it seems like there’s no end to this madness because it’s just too late. Also worse because there are people out there who want to experience as much of the game as possible but can’t because everything isn’t for everyone and never will be. Those people will be suckered into buying into this system even further
Also, what the shit, Ubisoft, why are there so many versions of this game being released. Watch Dogs is one of the most anticipated games this year and seeing this makes me almost not even want to bother.
It’s already a lost cause, but I just can’t helped but be bummed about the bullshit. OK RANT OVER IM GONNA GO BE HAPPY NOW
So I’ve been re-living facets of my childhood by re-watching basically everything Dragon Ball and DBZ. Started on the movie and they’ve come in various forms. Does it bother anyone else that most of the American versions of these movies have terrible, no good, very god fucking awful metal and hard rock music playing in the background? Don’t get me wrong, I like that kind of music for the most part but holy shit it has no business being in DBZ like that. The original background music is infinitely better and it evokes a much different feeling while watching it. There are some American dubbed versions where the original music is kept and that’s really dope. We need more of that.
